Some will know who she is and some won't. Depends on your age, when you were born, AND what your cartoon viewing habits were as a kid. Her name is June Foray, an American voice actress and is known as "The First Lady of Animated Voicing." She passed in 2017, but not before giving us hundreds of unforgettable cartoon characters. Check out this amazing list of her voices. She finally received an Emmy award at age 94! About time! She recorded for Disney productions for 6 decades! She was one of the pioneers of voice acting. To be a working, sought after animation voice actor you need to become the character, sustain it and capable of voicing more than just a sentence or two. June Foray was amazing. Her voice print is all over the classic cartoons. Find her on You Tube videos doing her thing and talking about her many voices she's used over the years. When you hear her speaking voice, I guarantee you'll hear some "Rocky" in there. And here she is in an outstanding interview posted on YouTube.
